A backpack that connects "what came before" and "what comes next"

The designer's own insight, built up over roughly six years since the first URBAN EXPLORER 20 was released in November 2017. New values brought about by changes in society and ways of living. An enormous amount of feedback from many users.

Distilling all of that experience and information into design, this model was created around the theme of "a backpack optimized for the lifestyles to come", packing in the pure joy of travel along with expectation and hope for a new era.

The first two-compartment design in the series

The large-opening front compartment offers roughly 14L of freely arrangeable packing space. A generous layout of stretch mesh pockets for sorting helps maximize storage and efficiency.

The other, tech compartment provides roughly 10L as a space to consolidate digital gadgets, as the name suggests. Alongside dedicated sleeve pockets for a 16-inch and a 14-inch laptop (tablet), it comes with a tech pouch that attaches and detaches with one touch. Keeping adapters, a mouse, cables, storage media, chargers and other peripherals together in this pouch maximizes the efficiency of working on your laptop on the move or away from the desk.

A carrying comfort that supports smooth travel

The shoulder harness, newly patterned for this model, combines two types of urethane foam: high-resilience (outer) and low-resilience (inner). The high-resilience foam keeps the harness in shape while the low-resilience foam reduces strain on the body, and together with the cushion pads on the back panel they distribute the load precisely for a comfortable carry. The length-adjustment straps use Fidlock® magnetic parts for an even more comfortable experience.

Behind an ultimately minimal exterior that goes with any style, it packs full functionality for city life: two compartments built on a calculated balance of function and capacity, and side pockets you can reach while wearing the bag on the move.

From travel to daily business use, it is a highly flexible item that makes "this is all I need" a reality.
