Performance verification by an organization certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (Japan) has been completed.

After the product arrives, please complete the following two procedures yourself before riding on public roads.

1. Apply for a license plate
   You must submit a "light vehicle tax declaration (report) and plate issuance application".
   ・Certificate of sale (delivered together with the scooter)
   ・Personal seal (inkan)
   ・ID (My Number card, driver's license, etc.)
   Bring the three items above to your local municipal office to complete the procedure.
   
2. Take out compulsory automobile liability insurance (jibaiseki)
   Compulsory liability insurance is required by law. Take out the insurance based on the "plate issuance certificate" issued with your license plate.
   It can be arranged at convenience stores or online. Be sure to enroll.
   The vehicle may not be operated unless the sticker showing an insurance (mutual aid) contract is affixed to the license plate.
   You must also carry the insurance certificate when riding. If there is no storage compartment (a sealable one of at least 210mm × 148mm), an electronic copy (e.g. a photo) saved on a smartphone may be carried instead.
